The Great Horned Owl, an iconic bird of the old growth forests, is transformed into a soft companion for a child by the talented knit designer Chris de Longpre. Using our chunky weight U.S. Organic Cotton and some knitting tricks--primarily the Magic Loop method of knitting in the round, our kit contains enough yarn to knit twin owls!
Included in the kits is a small notecard, envelope and bird's nest sticker to use for gifting the owls!

Kit contains 115 yd/105m bulky weight U.S. Organic Cotton and 6 yds/5.5 m 3/2 gold cotton (for eyes) packaged in an organza gift bag with the pattern.
Pattern Specifications
Gauge is 24 sts/18 rows=4". A US 8/5.0 mm 32" circular needles and set of 4 DPNs are required.
