Varying your hook size can make the heart larger or smaller. I used a F hook with our ABD organic sport weight yarn for my heart garland, using Pink, Blush and Huckleberry Red. There are so many fun ways to put them to use, A necklace, a patch on a hat, handmade gift cards I’m sure you can find some special way to use them—let us know!

Here is my heart pattern, feel free to adapt.

1. 1. Chain 2

   2. 4 Single Crochet in first chain, chain 1, turn

   3. 2 Single Crochet in first chain, single crochet across, 2 single crochet in last stitch, chain 1, turn

   4–6. Repeat row 3

   7. Sc in fist stitch, skip next stitch, 5 double crochet in the next stitch, single crochet in next stitch, 5 double crochet in the next stitch, single crochet in last stitch.

   8. I then single crochet around the perimeter of the heart. To give a little fullness, at the bottom point of the heart, 3 single crochet in the same stitch, at the top of each arch, single crochet 2 in the same stitch.  

   9. Don’t forget to tuck your “tails”
